Steam Red Snapper Fillet
INGREDIENTS
- 1 (1-pound) red snapper fillet with skin (3/4 inch thick)
- 1 tablespoon Hua Tiao Chiew (Chinese Cooking Wine)
- 1 teaspoon Light Soya Sauce
- 1 teaspoon White Pepper
- 1 tablespoons New Moon Abalone Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Asian sesame oil
- 1 (3-inch) piece old ginger, peeled and cut into the very thin slice
- 2 gloves of garlic , finely chopped
- 2 fresh red chilies, seeded and cut lengthwise into very thin strips
- 1 stalk of spring onions cut lengthwise into very thin strips
PREPARATION
- Marinade the fillet with New Moon Abalone sauce,Sesame oil, light soya sauce, Hua Tiao Chiew and white pepper. (set aside for 5mins)
- Add the sliced old ginger, chopped garlic and red chilies
- Place the fillet in a steamer and let it steam for 15mins and remove from the steamer
- Garnish with spring onions and serves
