Steam Red Snapper Fillet

INGREDIENTS

    • 1 (1-pound) red snapper fillet with skin (3/4 inch thick)
    • 1 tablespoon Hua Tiao Chiew (Chinese Cooking Wine)
    • 1 teaspoon Light Soya Sauce
    • 1 teaspoon White Pepper
    • 1 tablespoons New Moon Abalone Sauce 
    • 1/2 teaspoon Asian sesame oil
    • 1 (3-inch) piece old ginger, peeled and cut into the very thin slice
    • 2 gloves of garlic , finely chopped
    • 2 fresh red chilies, seeded and cut lengthwise into very thin strips
    • 1 stalk of spring onions cut lengthwise into very thin strips
    • PREPARATION

    • Marinade the fillet with New Moon Abalone sauce,Sesame oil, light soya sauce, Hua Tiao Chiew and white pepper. (set aside for 5mins)
    • Add the sliced old ginger, chopped garlic and red chilies 
    • Place the fillet in a steamer and let it steam for 15mins and remove from the steamer
    • Garnish with spring onions and serves
